TESTIMONIAL: "The Boot Camp surpassed my expectations and there is no doubt that the success of our golf ranges to be developed in the following years in Mexico, will owe a lot of their success to Jamie..." -- Eduardo Valencia, Mexico City, Mexico. Over 16 Years Experience In Successfully Developing & Operating Ranges! Let me tell you a little more about your instructor who will be guiding you through your “boot camp.” I've been in the range business for quite a few years -- since 1990 to be exact. But, I have NOT been in the range business all my life -- and I think that's why I relate to most of my clients. Most everyone I help is looking to make a smooth switch from their current job and get into owning their own range. Having done EXACTLY that, I know what they will be going through and the questions they have. After getting an MBA and having a successful career in corporate big business, I decided to change gears and get into my own business -- preferably in the golf industry -- a business that I could own and control for myself. My goal was to own my own golf range. Why a golf range? For a number of reasons.
My involvement in the range business began back in 1990, with Forecast Golf Group. We helped people plan and develop their own golf ranges, all the while, making plans to develop our own range in Richmond. Now, I am president of that company. Since 1990, all I have done is live, eat, and breathe golf ranges. Our first range opened in 1998, and and the second in 1999; and i have 1 golf course/practice facility that we are responsible for managing. And, I continue to help other people make the same kind of career switch that I did. Having successfully been through the process of switching careers and successfully making the big leap, I can really relate to - and help - people trying to do the same thing. So, I've got first-hand knowledge and experience as a successful range developer and operator -- currently managing over $11 million dollars in golf facility assets, generating sales over $2.1 million, and operating budgets in excess of $1.5 million. Being in the range business for so long - almost 30 operating years of experience - and having responsibility for these money-making assets, I have learned a lot. And those lessons are what I will share with you at my ULTIMATE BOOT CAMP. I don't think there is any place else where you can get so much valuable information, and in such a short period of time. "We used Forecast Golf's manual as a reference tool not only in the project planning stages, but also when we were in the construction process whenever we had to choose for alternative courses of action. In our jargon we refer to your manual as the 'Golf Range Bible,' as every possible clue we needed at any time, in any situation, was cleared by referring to your manual, or where we found a complete further look on most subjects." -- Ernesto Berisso, owner of Stallion Golf Range, near Buenos Aires, Argentina.
